What I Do
I’ve been a marketing and communications professional for over 25 years. I craft and deliver strategic messaging to inspire and drive people to action, whether internally or externally.
And for the last 20+ years I’ve been fortunate to lead award-winning teams of marketers, communicators and designers in some pretty fantastic companies.
The companies I’ve worked for have allowed me the freedom to support a variety of projects and programs, asking me to do things well outside my job description.
Early days I was shipped offshore to inspect platforms and act as a client representative in decommissioning activities…if the company needed me somewhere, I went without question and figured out how to do the task on the way there or on the job.
As my career's progressed, so did the importance and extent of my involvement beyond marketing and communications.
I’ve participated extensively in operations, business development and people development efforts to design strategies, build cultures, manage change and recruit top talent. I typically work as part of or closely with executive leadership, helping them empathize with our people and communicate with them effectively.
I'm often call a jack of all trades, and truth be told, I am likely a master of some.
